Papercut Hive Setup
To help you get started, I've put together a short guide below explaining how to:
-
Setup your user portal from the Papercut Hive welcome email. (Please keep an eye out and do not delete)
-
Register your door fob with the copier.
-
Connect your device to the BEP_FollowMe print queue.
Once you're set up, you can print whenever it's convenient, without needing to collect your documents straight away.
When you're ready to collect your printing, simply visit any PaperCut Hive copier, scan your door fob, and securely release your documents. This helps reduce wasted printing and sustainability.
Please note: Print jobs are securely held for up to 48 hours before they are automatically deleted from the copier.
Scan to email and Scan to OneDrive is also available from the copiers direct, by scanning your fob.
Setup.
-
Over the next 24 hours you will receive an email from Papercut Hive asking you to setup your account. Please follow with the account creation to setup your user portal. You will be able to enter your email and then sign in with Microsoft.
2. Once you have setup your account you will find a unique access code, these are randomly generated but can be changed on request. (This code will be needed to register your fob onto the copier).
3. Once completed, you can proceed to the copier. The first time you scan your fob it will recognise this as a new token; you will then need to enter your access code from the user portal; this will assign your fob to your account. Going forward you can then use this to login to the copier.
Final steps to install the print queue to your device
4. I have started to remotely deploy the print client to your devices; this must be installed in order to install the new copier and should install automatically. You may start to see this being installed with a notification banner. Without this printing will not be available.
Once the client is installed, it can be found under the taskbar under the ^ Arrow and then the Green P icon.
5. Here you can right click on the green P and then sign in, it will open a sign in page within your browser where you can enter your email and then select sign in with Microsoft. Once completed you will see that your account is connected and can proceed to select actions and refresh my printer list.
6. The BEP_FollowMe print queue will then install, it can take approx. 5-10 mins before it appears under your printers.
7. Once installed you have successfully installed the new print queue 🙂
